I remember a time when I actually received letters and I wrote letters—not emails. I even kept a tally of who wrote, when the letter arrived, and the date I answered. Another section listed the letters initiated by me and when the response arrived.
One friend still eschews the ease of email and enjoys the time spent writing a long letter. It's a visit rather than a quick hello.
