Words & Visuals

From The New York Times.
Tony Judt recently died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis— to the end he dictated essays. He was always thinking about the importance of language, he wrote: “... In the grip of a neurological disorder, I am fast losing control of words even as my relationship with the world has been reduced to them.”

There was a link to one of his last pieces in The New York Review of Books It's a worthwhile read.
