March 7th—The Tournament of Books

I find that reading is my best teacher.

On March 7th ", the Seventh Annual Tournament of Books presented by Field Notes, and sponsored by Powell’s Books, will begin.

Which means that by the end of March, one book will have survived 17 judges, four weeks of blood sport, a Zombie Round determined by our readers, and one final matchup to be crowned that most serious—and seriously demented—of awards in contemporary American letters: The Rooster."
