Looking for A Head Start?

Mitch , from Colorado, sent this link to me.
Random Title Generator by Maygra

Imagine yourself on a dank and dismal day unable to write—stuck in that limbo area known as writer's block. You've tried prompts, but find them pallid and lacking. Head to the generator and click the button labeled Give Me Some Titles and voila a list of possibilities materializes on your screen.

One of my titles: Eye in the Light

I remind myself of a Lewis Carroll poem:
(from Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There, 1872)

The Walrus and the Carpenter
Walked on a mile or so,
And then they rested on a rock
Conveniently low:
And all the little Oysters stood
And waited in a row.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

  1. What a remarkable leap from "Eye in the light" to Carroll. Lots of little oyster eyes?
Thanks for the link—I'll give it a try.

  2. I found "The Winter of the Flame"…among others that intrigued.
